June's update on my Resolutions
1. Cease drinking soda. Okay, lesson held for this month!
2. Do not purchase new clothes for one year. I found that I am in need of tops for school. Searching the thrift stores but no luck so far!
3. Save the savings. Over $48 saved at Kroger!
4. Reduce my personal belongings. Hmmm....check out these boxes of 'stuff' that I have freecycled. I also purged all of my quilting magazines and freecycled them. I scanned and saved electronic copies of the quilt patterns I liked in the magazines and was able to give the magazines to another quilter.
5. Read at least 3 books to improve my teaching skills.
How to Think like Leonardo DaVinci!
6. Keep my tax records more organized for 2010. Progressing nicely
7. Walk 10,000 steps each day. No idea how many steps, but Lenita and I have been walking three mornings a week!
8. Reduce my fabric stash. Okay....I did purchase fabrics to back two quilts (which are at the quilters already!) and fabrics to create items for the Car Show next year. I also purchased fabrics to make another quiltaway quilt!
9. Make time for ME! I did have my quiltaway weekend. Loved spending time alone as well as with Cat, Sherry and Marita! We had loads of fun, laughter and quilt experiences! My other 'me' time was interspersed with working on school related items and normal household tasks!
